Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.43 g, 5 h), Rome, 132-134. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to left. Rev. CLEMENTIA AVG COS III P P Clementia standing front, head to left, holding patera in her right hand and long scepter with her left. BMC 538 var. (bare bust). Cohen 221 var. (bare bust). RIC 206 var. (unlisted bust type). Very rare. Beautifully toned and with a wonderful portrait of exquisite style. Extremely fine.
